Dating all the way back to the 1930’s, Roger La Grenouille (Roger the frog) has been serving some of France’s most renowned delicacies to everyone and anyone from Pablo Picasso to the average rambling tourist. Currently run by talented proprietor Sébastien Layrac, new life has been breathed into this classic establishment, marking a return to its past greatness. If you want to sample the French classic frog’s legs, then this really is the place to try them- they are served fresh every day a la Provencal and are probably some of the best in the city. The menu offers plenty of other typical French dishes but it’s fair to say that Roger La Grenouille is a frog’s legs specialist at heart. The interior of this well loved eatery is small and intimate and is always packed out, so booking a table in advance is highly recommended.
