Philippe Starck’s hot eatery Restaurant Bon in Paris’ 16th was relaunched in September 2008 with stunning new décor and a new Asian inspired menu. Located in an impressive art nouveau building on the Rue de la Pompe, Restaurant Bon boasts four beautiful and different settings in which to dine; the vinotheque with huge glass wine cabinets, the fireplace room with its loungey feel, wood panelled walls and dark parquet flooring, the library loaded with bookshelves filled to the brim with books and the boudoir with its plush drapes and fabrics, perfect for a romantic meal for two. The revamped menu brings an exciting blend of Asian flavours with dishes like sole in tempura with toffee and lemongrass sauce, crispy zucchini and eggplant or thinly sliced veal with ginger and shitake.
