Le River Café is a unique and original French restaurant situated on board a houseboat in the docks of Issy les Moulineaux in Paris. Anchored on the beautiful River Seine, Le River Café boasts stunning views and offers a tranquil place to dine without having to leave the city. This amazing restaurant has recently been renovated and taken over by young restrauteur Mathieu Bucher, who has transformed this floating restaurant into a beautiful setting, subtly decorated in a refined colonial style with tones of blue. The giant glass doors open up onto the huge decked terrace, where summer al fresco dining by the river is a must. The chef has composed an excellent French menu relying on the freshest products on the market. The fresh fish comes in direct from the Brittany coast every morning, ensuring maximum quality. The cuisine is traditional French with a hint of the Mediterranean and ties in perfectly with its setting. Favourites such as duck magret, smoked salmon and entrecote with bearnaise sauce and frites are just some of the dishes to choose from and wonderful desserts like chocolate moelleux and crème brulee round off the proceedings nicely.
