The décor is very Parisian, and the building’s history has been well preserved with stunning wall frescoes dating back to the 1920’s, traditional banquettes and plenty of polished woodwork. Ex Rostang trained chef Stephane Mauduit creates a sensational menu of French cuisine with dishes such as chestnut soup with spiced bread, squid with chorizo and quinoa, pork knuckle braised in orange sauce with polenta and prawn scallop kebab with crunchy pasta. The set menu at 32 Euros is divine and provides a real treat to the palette. Don’t forget to save some space for the excellent desserts such as quince tatin with mascarpone and pink pralines. The wine list is relatively short but very well chosen. Le Buisson Ardent is a must for all lovers of fine quality French food and typical bistro surroundings.
