La Table de Fabrice is a charming and cosy French restaurant situated just a few metres away from the Tour D’Argent in Paris. Run by a husband and wife team, La Table de Fabrice offers a real alternative to the major gourmet restaurants in the city, with its understated and simple dining area. Situated along the Quai de la Tournelle, the ground floor of the restaurant is warm and cosy and very inviting during the colder months. The first floor is a little more luxurious with beautiful exposed wooden beams, cream tones and soft lighting and the star feature is a lovely half moon window with stunning views across the Seine and the Ile Saint Louis. The small terrace is surrounded by lush green plants and is a haven of tranquillity during the summer months. Although La Table de Fabrice only opened just over 18 months ago, it is already proving to be a hit among the Parisian diners with Fabien Devely’s exquisite menu. It’s probably fair to say that the house dish is the langoustine risotto, this dish is superb and so full of flavour. The starter of poached eggs with truffles is another winner and desserts such as millefeuille with vanilla rounds off a fine meal perfectly. Le Table de Fabrice is a delightful newcomer on the restaurant scene of Paris and is well worth the visit.
