The delightful and very romantic La Petite Cour restaurant is set in a side street just a few steps from St Sulpice in the arty neighbourhood of St Germain. La Petite Cour's interior consists of numerous cosy corners and alcoves with lucious red seats and the odd Art Nouveau feature, but it is the all-season terrace, with its awnings and charming fountain, that really make La Petite Cour irresistible. The chef uses seasonal products, fresh from the market, as a basis for his imaginative cuisine: faintly aromatic crab-meat with lemon and coconut mousse, tuna tournedos with Parmesan, and a wonderful rabbit joint in a nut crust constitute some of the culinary highlights. Some of the inside tables at La Petite Cour command a view of the terrace, one of the prettiest in Paris, through the polished-glass windows. Evergreen foliage and delightful roses climb the surrounding natural stone wall and a cherub watches over the scene from a hidden recess. The service at La Petite Cour restaurant is very efficient & friendly & prices are more than reasonable, making this restaurant a positive favourite with both locals & visitors. Highly recommended.
