Harold Sacreste, owner of Harold, Eugène and La Vinoteca, brings the fantastic Di Vino restaurant to the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The second of Sacreste’s Italian restaurants, Di Vino is an impressive eatery, boasting a beautiful Parisian setting overlooking the Place de Mexico. The dining room is a stylish space with cool wooden flooring, chocolate leather or funky patterned seating and crisp, white linen topped tables. The patio is a real winner with some tables offering views of the Eiffel Tower. As for the menu, as the name suggests, the Italian cuisine served at Di Vino is simply divine. Highlights have to be the mushroom and black truffle risotto, the osso buco and the amazing saltimbocca. Other dishes include baby lamb chops with aubergine caviar and grilled sea bass with olive tapenade and vegetable tian. The wine list offers premium Italian wines with many available by the glass. Di Vino is an excellent addition to the Italian restaurant scene of Paris, where the high quality of the food and the smart and contemporary setting is attracting a loyal clientele.
