In the heart of Paris’ lively 1st arrondissement, Chez La Vielle Adrienne is superbly traditional with a charming old wooden counter, beamed ceiling and walls adorned with photos of the former owner Adrienne, accompanied by various VIP guests of the past. The restaurant is well loved in the city of lights and is a symbol of old fashioned Paris. In December 2009 top restaurateur Christian Millet took the reigns and installed prestigious chef Michel del Burgo in the kitchen. Del Burgo has created a fantastic French menu relying on traditional French recipes and the highest quality ingredients to produce dishes such as claves liver, kidneys, braised beef and carrots; roasted suckling lamb with thyme and garlic, pot au feu or hot foie gras with vegetables and Oporto jus. Desserts are equally as delicious such as chocolate tart with pecan nuts and vanilla ice cream or pineapple minestrone with coriander and ginger and coconut foam. Chez La Vielle Adrienne encompasses history, tradition and fine food all under one roof.
