Bistrot 31 or B31 as it is lovably known as, is a great little Franco Italian restaurant situated close to the Eiffel Tower and the Auteuil church in Paris. This modern bistro boasts an elegant yet informal setting with a convivial atmosphere and attracts a varied crowd from local business folk, to savvy tourists who can sniff out a good restaurant a mile away. The décor is traditional bistro style with lots of polished wood, cream walls and elegant lighting. There is a lovely bar, perfect for a pre or post meal drink and a chat. David and Pascal have cleverly created a fine menu combining both French and Italian styles of food to offer diners some interesting options such as fresh pasta with truffles, foie gras or fruits of the sea or a fine beef burger with melted mozzarella. There is a large choice of meat and fish dishes and portions are more than generous, there’s no haute cuisine sizes at Bistrot 31! Finish off your meal with a classic Italian dessert of panna cotta with red berries. The wine list is extensive and not only offers some great French and Italian references but also features some tasty new world wines, particularly from Chile and South Africa. Bistrot 31 is a pleasant surprise and with dishes of this size you’ll certainly never leave the place hungry.
